Description

Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF Pro

Pulsar have outdone themselves with the new range of LRF Pro riflescopes. The Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP50 PRO, Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XQ50 Pro and the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XG50 thermal riflescope. Pulsar have solved the puzzle and added the missing piece to the classic Thermion design – a built-in precision laser rangefinder.

New for 2023 Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XG50

The XG sensor now also comes with the Thermion 2 LRF, Pulsars premium flagship riflescopes line. With the XP and XQ models already in use Pulsar decided to introduce the XG version for even more choice.

The combination of the sensor’s 12-micron pixel pitch and 50mm fast aperture lens brings us to the main difference: an increased base magnification of 3x together with a detection range of 2300 meters. This is the go-to riflescope for hunters aiming for smaller game at longer distances.

Knowledge of distance precision shooting

The classic slim design housing of the new Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF PRO features a seamlessly integrated compact laser rangefinder that fits into a single optical channel. With a measuring distance of up to 800 metres, the riflescope gives an accurate sense of distance for a precision shooting.

The scope’s thermal detection range of up to 1800 metres in combination with the LRF brings exceptional detection capabilities.

The new riflescope is ideal for shooting from great distances. The Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF PRO base magnification increases from 2x – 16x for the XP50,  3x – 12x for the XQ50 and 3x – 24x for the XG50 either doubling at each step or continuously, enabling the ideal magnification ratio and visible field of view for specific conditions.

Use the “Picture-in-picture” mode for a high precision zeroing frame. Covering only 10% of the total display area, the frame shows a magnified image of the target and a reticle. It shows both a close and clear view of the aiming area while giving visual control of the entire field of view at the same time.

The Thermion’s memory contains ten reticle configurations (direct shot type, ballistic, scalable, and regular), all available in nine different colours.

Thermal excellence in the smallest detail

The Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP50 PRO and Thermion 2 LRF XQ50 Pro have unprecedented sensor sensitivity of NETD <25mK, ensuring perfect detail recognition even in the most severe weather conditions when thermal contrast is low. The Thermion 2 LRF XG50 come with a sensor sensitivity of NETD <40mK.

The high-definition sensor (640×480 pixel pitch 17 µm XP50), (384×288 pixel pitch 17 µm XQ50), (640×480 pixel pitch 12 µm XG50) results in sharp and richly contrasted thermal imaging for precise identification of animals, their extremities and peculiarities of the landscape.

Ultimate detection efficiency is achieved with the Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF PRO fast aperture (F50/1.0) lens. When paired with the high sensitivity thermal sensor, it offers the highest possible quality and most detailed and informative imaging under any hunting conditions.

The new riflescopes feature a prolonged operation time. It is powered with two rechargeable batteries: one built-in and a replaceable APS3. You’ll be able to enjoy up to 10 hours of hunting time on a single battery charge.

  1. Craig Borawl

Fantastic service. Dave communicated with me through each stage of what was (for me) an expensive investment in technology. Before finding “After Dark” I had tried a number of different providers and can unequivocally state that there was no comparison. Very reliable and very trustworthy.
For those sitting on the fence i can absolutely recommend the Pulsar Thermion 2 Pro LRF, its a game changer for me when shooting at night on the farm.
