Description

Pulsar Telos Thermal monocular

Pulsar introduces the extended line of the flagship thermal monocular family. The new line of Pulsar Telos Thermal Monoculars include several new models: the HD resolution Pulsar Telos LRF XL50, the extremely sensitive Pulsar Telos LRF XP50, the more affordable Pulsar Telos LRF XG50 and the compact Pulsar Telos LRF XQ35.

Pulsar Telos Upgradability

Pulsar Telos is the new concept of upgradeable thermal imaging monoculars. It is the first line of thermal devices on the market to offer the option of technical hardware upgrade. The components of the Telos can be replaced with new ones featuring better characteristics. The user doesn’t need to acquire a new device every time a newer technology is being introduced. Telos is designed to be time resistant and future-proof. And to constantly adapt to the ever-changing needs of a hunter. With the new Pulsar upgradeability concept your Telos will become a renewable device. Or, if you wish, a device for life.

*The upgradeability program will be launched later this year.

Possible upgrade types:

  • Addition of the laser rangefinder for the non-LRF models
  • Sensor upgrade
  • Objective lens upgrade

Intuitive user experience

For a more tactile and intuitive use of Pulsar flagship handhelds activate the haptic feedback function in the short menu of the Pulsar Telos. The unit will respond with short vibrations when pressing the control buttons.

Precise laser ranging up to 1000m

Understanding the target distance is an essential factor in making the right decisions. In selected models a built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometre allows you to measure distances in single measurements and continuous scanning modes with an accuracy of ± 1 metre for quick and error-free assessment of the situation.

Advanced Pulsar image boost technology

All Telos models will feature in-house developed advanced Pulsar image boost technology. This brings Telos thermal imaging to the highest level of detail, clarity and contrast.

The device is able to depict complex scenes in a wide range of halftones – even low contrast objects such as the sky, grass or water surfaces. Plus, software detailing and sharpening of objects at different distances makes the image highly informative.

Manually increasing the thermal imaging sensor sensitivity improves detection quality when observation conditions worsen. A smoothing filter and a wide range of brightness and contrast settings make prolonged observation more comfortable.

Replaceable battery pack with direct plug & wireless fast charge options

The brand-new LPS 7i quick-change Li-ion battery guarantees more than 8 hours of operating time. LPS 7i doesn’t require special chargers − just connect it to any network adapter via the USB Type-C port and charge it using the Power Delivery fast charging protocol in a short time. Moreover, the LPS 7i battery supports wireless charging.

Pulsar Telos Designed for user needs

In a Pulsar Telos device, the image can be easily adjusted with one hand. The classic smooth digital zoom and focusing rings are located on the lens in the classic layout, one by one, like professional cameras, which is ideal for both left- and right-handed hunters. The consistent arrangement of the rings enables getting a clear image with the desired magnification quickly and with minimal effort.

The vertical symmetrical layout of the control buttons allows Telos to be used with both hands with the same comfort level – the buttons are located in a row on the top panel. And the attachable hand strap can be moved to the right or left side of the device according to your preferences.

For even more adaptability and comfort of use, the Telos offers customizable controls and a user interface. These new thermal imaging monoculars are characterized by advanced functionality, but determining the priority of a particular function is the privilege of the user who is free to reorder the menu items and determine the button functions.

Ready for the toughest conditions

Pulsar Telos thermal imaging devices have been designed for use in the tough outdoors using and in the temperature range of -25 to +40 °C. The device is waterproof when fully immersed in water. The composite polymeric rubber-coated case possesses high operational qualities. The absence of protruding parts in the design, as well as the anatomically optimal housing shape of the Telos thermal imaging devices contribute to safety and comfort during prolonged use time. The rubber-coated housing helps to securely hold the thermal imaging device in the hand in both dry weather and rain. The housing has exceptional wear resistance and perfectly withstands operation in a wide range of temperatures, including dusty and moist conditions, and it protects the device from falls. In addition, the housing is easily cleaned and keeps its original appearance for a long time.

Adaptable for left- and right-handed use

The vertical symmetrical layout of the controls allows Pulsar Telos to be used with both hands with the same degree of comfort − the buttons are located in a row on the top panel, and the lens rings are used for focusing and changing magnification.

Taylor-made ergonomic and functional carrying case

A hunter must be fast-moving. A sign of good quality equipment is being at hand when needed, and invisible the rest of the time. Stylish on the outside, the Telos case is user-friendly and comfortable to carry. The thermal imaging device is quickly and easily removed from the case and placed in position. The system of optimal belt positioning distributes the device weight on the hunter’s body, relieving the load from the shoulders, back and neck. The cover fits snugly to the body, without preventing the hunter from freely bending, turning, crouching, moving across country and using weapons. Additionally, the Telos case is equipped with straps for attaching it to a waist belt, as well as to equipment with a modular Molle fixation system, including backpacks and webbed gears.
