The RovyVon Aurora A5 G4 GITD (Generation 4) is the latest version of the innovative glow-in-the-dark keychain flashlight that was first introduced in 2018. This flashlight has a green luminous body that can be charged by the UV sidelight or by sunlight, and it emits a bright light from the front LED or the side LEDs. The Aurora A5 G4 GITD also features a USB-C charging port, a metal button switch, a magnetic tail base, and a magnetic pocket clip. It is a compact, versatile, and fun flashlight that you can carry with you anywhere.
The Aurora A5 G4 GITD has a front LED that can produce up to 650 lumens of cool white light (SST-20 6500K) or 420 lumens of neutral white light (Nichia 219C 5000K 90 CRI). The front LED has four modes: moonlight (0.5 lumens), low (25 lumens), medium (200 lumens), and high (420/650 lumens). The high mode can run for about 1.5 minutes before stepping down to prevent overheating. The front LED also has a memory function that remembers the last used mode after 3 minutes of working. You can access the front LED by double-clicking the metal button, and cycle through the modes by single-clicking.
The Aurora A5 G4 GITD also has two side LEDs that can provide additional lighting options. You can choose between two models: A5R with white and red sidelights, or A5U with white and UV
sidelights. The white sidelights have two modes: low (10 lumens) and high (50 lumens). The red sidelight has two modes: steady (10 lumens) and flash (10 lumens). The UV sidelight has one mode: 365nm wavelength. The UV sidelight can be used to charge the luminous body of the flashlight, but it is not suitable for detecting banknotes or other purposes. You can access the side LEDs by triple- clicking the metal button, and cycle through the modes by single- clicking.
The Aurora A5 G4 GITD has a built-in 330mAh lithium polymer battery that can be recharged via the USB-C port on the side. The charging time is about 60 minutes, and there is an indicator light that shows the charging status. The USB-C port is covered by a new rubber cover that is more durable and secure than the previous versions. The indicator light will blink red when charging and turn solid green when fully charged. Note that the USB-C cable is not included in the package.
The Aurora A5 G4 GITD comes with a magnetic tail base and a magnetic pocket clip that can be attached or detached easily. These accessories allow you to carry or use the flashlight in different ways, such as clipping it to your pocket, attaching it to a metal surface, or hanging it from your backpack. The magnetic tail base also has a hole for attaching a key ring or a lanyard. The magnetic pocket clip is made of stainless steel and has a two-way design that lets you clip the flashlight in either direction.
The Rovyvon Aurora A5 G4 GITD has a lockout mode that prevents accidental activation when not in use. You can activate or deactivate the lockout mode by rapidly clicking the metal button five times when the light is off. The indicator light will blink twice to confirm the lockout mode, and three times to confirm the unlock mode. Plugging in to charge will also unlock the light automatically. The Aurora A5 G4 GITD also has an equivalent IP66 weather resistance rating, which means it can withstand dust and water splashes from any direction.
